John Elsbree

John Elsbree is an experienced archivist currently serving as the Legacy Archivist at the George Eastman Museum since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Consultant Archivist at the Rochester Public Library and Graduate Teaching Assistant at SUNY Brockport. John has completed internships at Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester Museum & Science Center, and Spencerport Depot & Canal Museum, focusing on collections management, research, and exhibit planning. John holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University at Buffalo and a Master of Arts in History from SUNY Brockport, complementing a solid educational foundation with a Bachelor of Science and an Associate of Arts and Sciences.
