Sara Shreve-Price is an accomplished educator and preservationist currently serving as a Teacher of History and Economics at George School since August 2017. Prior experience includes teaching upper division history and English at Casady School from July 2014 to July 2017 and acting as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Iowa from 2007 to 2013, where courses taught included Understanding American Cultures and Survey of Film. Sara's preservation experience includes roles as a Historic Preservationist at Dewberry, where damage assessments for historic structures were conducted after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and as a Preservation Associate at Maybeck Foundation, where significant contributions were made toward the documentation of Bernard Maybeck's architectural works. Sara holds a PhD in American Studies from the University of Iowa, a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Mills College.
