David Penake

David Penake serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Georgia Bio since January 2023 and has been the CEO of Saol Therapeutics since April 2016. Previously, David held the position of Vice President of Commercial Operations at Corcept Therapeutics from July 2012 to April 2016, where responsibilities included leading the commercial organization and managing various programs related to Cushing's syndrome. David's career includes significant roles at Genentech, where achievements involved leading teams in access solutions and pricing strategies. Additionally, David has academic credentials from prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering and an MBA were obtained. David also co-hosted a radio show on energy topics and contributed to cancer research projects at the Broad Institute.
