Juan Carlos started their career in 2001 as a co-founder of Organización Sentido Común, where they played a key role in driving the company's vision and implementing transformative communication solutions. Juan Carlos also worked as a Business Consultant at Global Entrepreneurs Colombia Ltda., where they facilitated international expansion projects for global clients.

In 2005, Juan Carlos took on the role of Business Developer at Global Entrepreneurs Africa, focusing on driving international business opportunities in Kenya. Juan Carlos contributed to significant sales of Macadamia nuts to Europe, enabled exports of African crafts to the Americas, and worked on timber and teak exports to Asia, benefiting local communities.

Juan Carlos then co-founded Proyector SAS, a media production company, where they were responsible for administrative setup and strategic business management. The company achieved widespread recognition and secured valued contracts with esteemed companies in the country.

Juan Carlos also held a managerial position at Pagus World, where they contributed to the creation of a Consolidated Shared Service Centre and played an instrumental role in streamlining payroll processes and ensuring compliance across diverse regions. This journey led to the establishment of ITOS, which continues its mission to simplify global payroll management for multinationals.

In 2013, Juan Carlos joined the Georgia Department of Economic Development as the Managing Director for Colombia and Mexico, promoting Georgia in Latin America and facilitating connections and collaborations between Georgia-based companies and Latin American countries.

Juan Carlos then served as the Operations Manager at ITOS, expanding the company's operations and introducing innovative HR solutions and integrated payroll services.

At Investissement Québec, Juan Carlos served as the Managing Director/Trade Representative for Colombia, strengthening economic relationships between Quebec and Colombia and facilitating business expansion opportunities for Quebec-based companies.

In their current role as the Managing Director for Latin America at EON Reality, Juan Carlos leads the expansion of EON Reality's presence in the LATAM region, focusing on democratizing knowledge through cutting-edge AI-powered Virtual and Augmented Reality solutions.
