Meggan Hood

Meggan Hood has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Meggan is currently the Managing Director of Brand Marketing at the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Prior to this, they served as the Division Director of Tourism at the same department. Before joining the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Meggan was the Director of Brand Strategy at the same organization.

Earlier in their career, Meggan held the position of Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at the Jekyll Island Authority. Meggan also worked as the Manager of Broadcast Creative at The Home Depot. Meggan started their career as an Advertising Manager at the American Cancer Society and then served as an Account Supervisor at Scharbo & Co. Meggan began their career as an Art Director and Senior Account Executive at Emergence and worked as an Account Executive at Point b.

Meggan Hood attended Auburn University from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. Meggan'sstudies at Auburn University focused on Communications, Journalism, and Marketing.
