Kennon Deal

Kennon Deal is an experienced academic and commercial pilot currently serving as an Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College since August 2015. In addition to academic responsibilities, Kennon Deal has held a commercial pilot position with the Georgia Forestry Commission since July 2022. Previous experience includes a role as an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Auburn University, where involvement in bio-analytical research utilizing microfluidic platforms occurred. Kennon Deal earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Georgia Southern University.
