Matt Kukla

Deputy Inspector General at Georgia National Guard

Matt Kukla, MBA, possesses extensive experience in military leadership and strategic analysis. Currently serving as the Deputy Inspector General for the Georgia National Guard since October 2014, responsibilities include enhancing force readiness through investigations, inspections, and training. Previous roles include a student at the Naval War College where an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies was obtained, and as a Senior Technical Analyst at CSC, where expertise in military program development and requirements was demonstrated. Additionally, Matt served as a Senior Military Science Instructor at COMTek, training and mentoring cadets, and held the position of AH-64D Longbow Apache Helicopter Company Commander in the US Army, leading operations during OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Auburn University and a BA in History from the Virginia Military Institute.
