Dean, Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing & Health Professions at Georgia State University

Huanbiao Mo became the dean of the Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing & Health Professions at Georgia State University in February 2019. Huanbiao had been serving as the interim dean and professor of the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions since July 2014. Prior to that, they were the chair and professor of the Department of Nutrition at Georgia State University from September 2011 to June 2014. Before joining Georgia State University, they were a professor at Texas Woman's University from September 2011 to June 2014.

Huanbiao Mo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Fudan University. Huanbiao then went on to earn a Master's degree in Plant Physiology from the Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology. Finally, they earned a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Huanbiao Mo reports to Nicolle Parsons-Pollard, Interim Provost & SVP, Academic Affairs. They work with Lisa Armistead - Dean, Graduate School, Kavita Pandit - Senior Advisor to the Provost, and Lavonda N. Reed - Dean, College of Law.
