Richard Phillips

Dean, J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University

Richard Phillips is currently the Dean of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. Prior to this, they were Chairman of the Board at Risk Index Partners, a partnership between Georgia State University, Bloomberg, and the Society of Actuaries that publishes the GSU CRO Risk Index. The Index uses recent advances in behavioral economics to elicit subjective probability distributions for various market risks derived from the opinions of global risk professionals that intends to measure the direction and the degree that these professionals agree about the direction of these markets. Richard has also held positions at the Munich American Reassurance Company and the Swift School.

Richard Phillips received their Ph.D. in finance and insurance from The Wharton School, their M.A. in managerial economics from The Wharton School, and their B.S. in mathematics from the University of Minnesota. Richard also attended Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
