Brian Garand currently serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance at Georgia Tech Athletic Association since April 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Compliance Coordinator at the University of Nebraska Lincoln's Athletic Department from July 2023 to April 2025, and Marketing, Communications, & Events Manager at Sports+Plus from October 2022 to June 2023. Earlier positions encompass a Compliance Intern at The George Washington University Athletics, and various internships at Swidzinski Sports Management and Dream Point Sports. Prior to the athletics field, Brian held several roles in government, including Legislative Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives, where responsibilities included managing appropriations requests and staffing for committee meetings. Brian's educational background features a Master of Science in Sports Management from The George Washington University School of Business and a degree in Natural Resources Ecology and Management from Louisiana State University.
