Amanda Watkins

Amanda Watkins has extensive experience in financial management and human resources, currently serving as Payroll & Benefits Manager at Georgia's Own Credit Union since August 2018, following the acquisition of State Bank of Georgia, where Amanda held the position of VP/Human Resources/Controller until July 2018. Previous roles include Controller at Bank of the Ozarks and First Choice Community Bank, with a foundational role as Collections Clerk at Bank of America. Amanda's career began in the US Army as a Transportation Coordinator from April 1990 to April 1998. Amanda holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Accounting from West Georgia Technical College.
