Dominique Hounslow has a range of work experience in the fields of strategic communication, media management, and public relations. They began their career as an Assessing Officer at the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources in May 2011, where they worked until January 2013. From there, they moved on to a Media Officer role at the Australian Government from January 2013 to October 2015. Following that, they joined the Murray-Darling Basin Authority as a Media Officer from October 2015 to July 2018. Most recently, Dominique has been working at Geoscience Australia, starting as a Media Advisor in July 2018 and progressing to the role of Acting Media Manager from June to September 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Strategic Communication Officer at Geoscience Australia, which they have held since January 2022.
Dominique Hounslow attended the University of Canberra from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Communication in Journalism, specializing in Print and broadcast journalism.
