Grace Butcher has a diverse work experience in the field of geoscience and GIS. Grace started their career as a Geological Interpretation Technician at Infoterra in 2009 before transitioning to an Exploration Geologist role at GeoConsult in 2010. In 2011, they joined Salva Resources as a Resource Geologist and later took on the role of Exploration Geologist, where they were responsible for data entry and management, report writing, and training junior geologists.

In 2013, Grace joined FROGTECH Geoscience as a GIS Coordinator, where they coordinated the acquisition of spatial data, developed quality control procedures, and provided technical support. Grace was later promoted to the position of GIS Specialist and HSEO, where they oversaw the integration of new data into the organization's GIS, designed training plans, and implemented GIS workflows and tools.

Grace's next role was at Airservices Australia in 2018, where they worked as an Aeronautical Information Officer. Their responsibilities included providing aeronautical information and support to stakeholders.

Currently, Grace is working at Geoscience Australia as a Basin Analyst. Their role involves analyzing basin data and managing geoscience data.

Throughout their career, Grace has demonstrated expertise in GIS, data analysis, project management, and training. Grace has consistently delivered high-quality work and has a strong focus on ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Grace Butcher attended the University of Leeds from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Geological Sciences.
