Tim Sparkman

Tim Sparkman has a diverse range of work experience. Tim most recently worked as a Project Support Manager at Geoscience Australia starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Program Coordinator (PMO) at Icon Water from September 2020 to July 2022, where they managed project schedules and implemented project management processes. Tim also worked as a SharePoint Systems Consultant at Palladium: Make It Possible from December 2019 to August 2020, where they developed and implemented a new SharePoint system. Tim has experience in policy, marketing, and leadership roles, having worked as a Regional Services and Policy Advisor at UDIA Queensland from November 2018 to December 2019. Tim's previous positions include Business Analyst at ISS Facility Services Australia and New Zealand from February 2017 to November 2018, and Development Officer at AFL QUEENSLAND LIMITED from February 2011 to December 2016. Tim also has experience in coaching and community engagement roles, having worked as a Head Coach AFL at Redeemer Lutheran College in October and November 2016, and as a participant in the Community Engagement Program at UQ Business School from March to July 2016. Additionally, Tim gained internship experience as a Business Process Analyst Intern at Bank of Queensland in January and February 2016. Tim is a University Student at the University of Queensland, having started in February 2011.

Tim Sparkman has a comprehensive education history. Tim obtained a Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering from UNSW in 2023-2024. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's in Project Management from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2019-2021. In 2020, they completed a course on Business Fundamentals at Harvard Business School.

Earlier in their academic journey, Tim pursued a Bachelor of Business Management / Arts degree at The University of Queensland from 2011-2016, specializing in Business Economics & Political Science / International Relations. Tim completed their high school education at Chanel College, where they obtained a Queensland Certificate of Education from 2006-2010.

In addition to their formal education, Tim has also obtained several certifications. Notably, they completed a course on "Become a Project Manager" from LinkedIn in August 2021. Tim'sother certifications include "Project Management Foundations: Risk," "Managing Project Stakeholders," "Project Management Foundations," "Project Management Foundations: Budgets," "Project Management Foundations: Communication," "Project Management Foundations: Ethics," "Project Management Foundations: Requirements," "Project Management Foundations: Schedules," "Project Management Foundations: Teams," and "Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification." Furthermore, they completed courses on "Data for Effective Policy Making" from edX and "Evidence-Based Project Management" from The Australian National University in July 2018.
