Tim Sparkman

Project Support Manager at Geoscience Australia

Tim Sparkman has a diverse range of work experience. Tim most recently worked as a Project Support Manager at Geoscience Australia starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Program Coordinator (PMO) at Icon Water from September 2020 to July 2022, where they managed project schedules and implemented project management processes. Tim also worked as a SharePoint Systems Consultant at Palladium: Make It Possible from December 2019 to August 2020, where they developed and implemented a new SharePoint system. Tim Sparkman has a comprehensive education history. Tim obtained a Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering from UNSW in 2023-2024. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's in Project Management from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2019-2021. In 2020, they completed a course on Business Fundamentals at Harvard Business School.

Earlier in their academic journey, Tim pursued a Bachelor of Business Management / Arts degree at The University of Queensland from 2011-2016, specializing in Business Economics & Political Science / International Relations. Tim completed their high school education at Chanel College, where they obtained a Queensland Certificate of Education from 2006-2010.

In addition to their formal education, Tim has also obtained several certifications. Notably, they completed a course on "Become a Project Manager" from LinkedIn in August 2021. Furthermore, they completed courses on "Data for Effective Policy Making" from edX and "Evidence-Based Project Management" from The Australian National University in July 2018.
