Tony Pack

Director Information Services - Community Safety at Geoscience Australia

Tony Pack has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tony started at Legal Aid Commission NSW in 2006 as a Web Applications Developer. Tony then moved to Geoscience Australia in 2008, where they held various roles such as Visualisation Team Leader, Product Release Function Team Lead, and Director of Communications and Client Services. In 2012, they briefly worked at the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism as a Manager of Strategy and Projects. Tony returned to Geoscience Australia in 2013 as the Divisional Information Officer and later became the Director of Information Services in the People, Space, and Communities Division.

Tony Pack has an education history that includes a Masters of Arts degree in Information Technology in Education and Training, which they obtained from the University of Wollongong from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Visual Arts and Computer Graphics from Sydney College of the Arts, which they completed from 1980 to 1984. In addition to their degrees, Tony also holds certifications in AgileBA® Practitioner from APMG International, which they obtained in February 2019, and PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner from APM Group, which they obtained in November 2010.
