Danielle Kiminki, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at GEOST since August 2015, where expertise includes the development of algorithms and software for performance characterization of space-based optical and infrared sCMOS sensors, data analysis for multi-year programs, and site operations management for automated astronomical observatories. Prior experience includes serving as a NIRCam Test Support Scientist for the James Webb Space Telescope at Steward Observatory, where statistical analysis and metrology measurements of infrared detector arrays were conducted. Danielle also held roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of Wyoming, contributing to instrument design and validation as well as teaching physics and astronomy. Educational qualifications include a PhD and M.S. in Astrophysics, and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Wyoming and the University of La Verne, respectively.
