Scott Yakoubek Mba

Scott Yakoubek, MBA, PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Scott began their career in the US Army in 1985, serving as a Communications Officer, where they were responsible for various administrative and logistical duties. During this time, they also supervised government civilian employees and Assistant Recruiting Officers.

In 2006, Yakoubek joined Pima County Government as a Senior Program Manager, where they established and managed a centralized, County-wide Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave program. Scott developed policies and procedures, conducted training programs, and implemented an FMLA tracking and database management software application.

From 2007 to 2012, Yakoubek worked as a Program Director for the Catholic Community Services NSW/ACT, overseeing all human resources functions and providing strategic analysis and recommendations for human resources, information technology, and staff development.

In 2012, Yakoubek joined NCI Information Systems, Inc. as a Senior IT Program Manager. During their tenure, they managed the U.S. Army's worldwide implementation and integration of Microsoft's System Center integrated systems management platform on secure and non-secure computer networks.

Since 2017, Yakoubek has been with Geost, Inc., where they have held various senior leadership roles. Scott started as an Operations Manager before progressing to Director of Operations and then Senior Director of Technical Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Production.

Throughout their career, Yakoubek has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills. Scott'seducational background includes an MBA and a PMP certification, further enhancing their expertise in these areas.

Scott Yakoubek, MBA, PMP completed their Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronics Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies from Cochise College. In terms of certifications, they obtained the ITIL Foundations certification from EXIN in January 2014, the A+ certification from CompTIA in December 2011, the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2014, and the Security + certification from CompTIA in March 2013.
