Rachel James

Rachel James is a Senior Scientist and Project Professional at Geosyntec Consultants since March 2019, focusing on water quality and aqueous geochemical investigations for mining and contaminated sites. Prior to this, Rachel served as an Environmental Specialist in the Mine Environment Division at Golder Associates from July 2010 to February 2019, providing geochemical characterization and environmental support for mining projects. Rachel also worked as an Environmental Consultant at TVI Resource Development, where the principal investigation involved designing a passive water treatment facility. Earlier experience includes co-lecturing a 4th year geoscience course at the University of Toronto from August 2003 to September 2006. Educational credentials include an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto and a BSc in Environmental Science from McMaster University.
