Juan José Hernández Garrido

Juan José Hernández Garrido has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Juan José started their career as a Junior IT Support at Universidad de Murcia in 2010 and 2012. Juan José also worked as a Junior Developer on the ARANEO project during this time.

In 2009, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Correos on a temporary basis.

In 2013, Juan joined everis as a Java J2EE Developer, where they worked on a client-server application for a major international customer in the energy sector. Juan José also took on the role of a Java J2EE Programmer Analyst, leading a team working on the development of the backend and frontend for a project in the energy sector.

From 2016 to 2021, Juan worked at Qardio, Inc. as a Java Developer, responsible for developing and improving REST API services and integrating with third-party services. Juan José was later promoted to Senior Java Engineer and focused on developing high-performance systems, providing code reviews, and actively learning new technologies.

Currently, Juan is working as a Software Engineer at Gerimedica, where they are primarily involved in backend development for their SaaS healthcare software in the Netherlands. Juan José is part of an agile team and is also involved in implementing infrastructure as code and ensuring high availability in their distributed systems.

Juan José Hernández Garrido began their education in 2007 at the Universidad de Murcia, where they pursued a Technical Computer Engineering Degree in the field of Computer Science. Juan José completed this degree in 2011. During the same period, from 2011 to 2012, Juan José also attended Oxford House of English to improve their English skills at an Upper-Intermediate level. In addition, they enrolled at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in 2011 and completed studies in Computer Sciences. Finally, Juan José returned to the Universidad de Murcia in 2011 and earned a Computer Engineering Degree in the field of Computer Engineering, which they completed in 2013.
