Annika Wagener

Annika Wagener is a Doctoral Researcher at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since October 2021, pursuing a PhD under the guidance of Prof. Dr. At Universität Luxemburg, Annika completed a visiting research stay in December 2021 with Prof. Rejko Krüger at the Luxembourg Center for Systems Biomedicine. Prior internship and research experiences include work at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München on CRISPR editing of iPSCs, Karolinska Institutet in characterizing a protease related to Alzheimer's disease, and multiple research internships at institutions such as University Hospital Heidelberg and University of Glasgow. Annika holds a Master's degree in Molecular Biosciences with a Neuroscience major from Heidelberg University and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Glasgow.
