Maryam Keshavarz is a scientist at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since September 2021 and served as a co-guest editor for the Mechanism of Aging and Development journal from August 2022 to March 2024, focusing on the complex interactions involved in the biology of aging. Maryam has extensive research experience, including a postdoctoral researcher position and a Ph.D. in Behavioral Genetics from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology (2014-2019), and a background in Cell Developmental Biology from the University of Tehran (2011-2013) and a Bachelor's in General Biology from Shiraz University (2007-2011).
