Tien-chen Lin is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at DZNE - German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases since July 2017. Previously served as a Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria in 2018, and held the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate at Heidelberg University from November 2014 to May 2017, focusing on microtubule nucleation mechanisms in microorganisms. Tien-chen Lin also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Université Nice Sophia Antipolis in early 2016, supported by an EMBO Short-term Fellowship. Prior research experience includes a Research Assistant role at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, from 2007 to 2009, involving structural and functional studies of specific human proteins. Tien-chen Lin earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from Heidelberg University (2009-2014) and a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from National Yang Ming University (2005-2006).
