Benjamin Tinsley

Benjamin Tinsley is an experienced educator and educational consultant specializing in French language instruction and modern language program development. Currently serving as a French Teacher at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and Germantown Academy since 2019, Benjamin also holds the position of Modern Language Department Head at Germantown Academy. Additionally, Benjamin has been an Educational Consultant with AfroFranco since 2021, focusing on enhancing the representation of historically marginalized groups within modern language education. As the Founder and President of Philly Arts Academy from 2012 to 2019, Benjamin led initiatives to provide accessible arts programming to under-resourced communities in the Delaware Valley. Benjamin holds a Master of Arts degree in Literacy from Rosemont College and a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from Temple University.
