Job Title: Park Maintenance Crew Member

Job Overview: We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our Park Maintenance Crew and contribute to the beautification and cleanliness of our city parks. As a Park Maintenance Crew Member, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our community. The primary responsibilities include power washing concrete surfaces and playground equipment, as well as ensuring the proper disposal of trash.

Responsibilities:

• Power wash concrete pathways, sidewalks, and other designated areas within city parks.

• Clean and sanitize playground equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic play environment for children.

• Empty and replace trash liners in designated trash cans throughout the park.

• Collect and properly dispose of litter, debris, and fallen leaves to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

• Report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.

• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

• Follow established safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in outdoor maintenance, cleaning, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate power washing equipment and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and prolonged periods of standing.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
• Must be reliable and punctual.

Schedule: This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the timely completion of maintenance tasks and the overall upkeep of city parks.
