Plumber

We are in immediate need of a Licensed, Certified Plumber to work in an air-conditioned facility.

Job Description

Responsibilities

· Review blueprints along with building code specifications to determine work details and procedures.

· Perform installation of plumbing systems of new construction and remodels.

· Install, repair and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.

· Collaborate with general contractors and other construction professionals.

· Other reasonably-related duties

Abilities/Skills :

· Professional manner

· Active Driver’s License helpful

· Willing to travel globally (10%); must have or be able to obtain a valid U.S. passport

· Ability to operate basic hand and power tools as well as a hand jack

· Physical abilities: hearing; seeing; lifting, pushing and pulling between 50-75 pounds; crouching; bending; twisting; kneeling; squatting; crawling; walking; standing for long periods; reaching in all directions; balancing; holding, grasping and manipulating very small objects; hand/eye coordination; use safety ladder; climbing; lay on a mechanic’s creeper and move about while performing tasks with tools; tolerate varying ranges of temperature in a Shop environment.

· Ability to understand and follow instructions

· Ability to read and understand blueprints

· Ability to use and read measuring instruments accurately in both U.S. Standard and Metric

· Awareness of general safety principles in a Shop environment

· Ability to complete tasks working with others and independently

· Work overtime as required

Education : High School Education; Technical school degree (2-year) or equivalent training

Experience/Knowledge : Commercial/industrial plumbing licensure required, Familiar with reading and understanding schematics. 2-4 years relevant experience depending on level of job functions.

Supervision Required: Medium – Ability to work independently or with others to complete tasks on schedule.
