Wenzel Novak

Wenzel Novak is a seasoned professional in business development and innovation within the medical systems industry. Currently serving as Global Senior Director of Business Development for Medical Systems at Gerresheimer since September 2018, Wenzel focuses on primary packaging solutions such as syringes, vials, and cartridges. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Market Development at OPTIMA Machinery Corporation, where Wenzel evaluated new ideas and fostered partnerships, and as Chief Research Officer and Member of the Management Board at groninger&co.gmbh, overseeing technology integration for pharmaceutical equipment. Earlier, Wenzel held production and project management positions at Gerresheimer Bünde and led laboratory efforts at BioCare. Wenzel holds a Dr. re. nat. in Physics/Biology from the Technical University of Munich and a Diplom in Biology from Ulm University.
