Dennis Lewis

Dennis Lewis has a wealth of work experience. Dennis began their career in 2006 as a Graphic Designer at The Island Packet Hilton. In 2007, they transitioned to a role as an Auto Liability Claims Representative at Progressive Insurance. In 2011, they moved to Travelers where they worked as a Bodily Injury Claims Representative until 2014. At that time, they joined Airbnb as an Offline Risk - Operations Manager, Claims - Operations Manager, Program Manager, and Trust and Safety Lead. Most recently, in 2021, Dennis began working as the Director of Claims and Insurance at Getaround. In this role, they are responsible for directing and overseeing the operations of an insurance claims department, procuring platform insurance, collaborating with product to prioritize and implement risk mitigation tools, and analyzing loss experience and risk signals to up-level program performance.

Dennis Lewis attended North Marion High School from 1994 to 1998. Dennis then went on to Portland State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design in 2005, as well as a BS in Graphic Design with a focus in business administration.
