VP of Finance at Cape

Sohan Dahya has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Beginning in 2010, they worked as a Peer Support & Tutor at Open Polytechnic. In 2013, they briefly served as a Broker Support at Velocity Financial. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Associate Accountant at Convex Accounting, where they provided business advisory and chartered accounting services. Starting in 2012, they held multiple roles at Te Aro Health Centre, including Accounting Specialist and Board Member. At New Zealand Post, they held positions as a Superannuation Specialist from 2011 to 2016, and later as an Associate Fund Manager from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Funding Options, initially as a Management Accountant, then as a Financial Controller, and finally as a Finance Director. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Cape as the VP of Finance.

Sohan Dahya completed the CPA Australia Program in 2017, earning a CPA degree in Accounting. Prior to that, they attended the Victoria University of Wellington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Taxation in 2013. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in CPA from CPA Australia, Certificate in Trusteeship from Workplace Savings NZ, and Xero Certified from Xero.
