Hey there! I'm Hugo Santos, the man behind Laura's laughter and Shirley's heart-eyed emojis.

When I'm not enjoying quality family time, cozying up for movie nights – complete with popcorn –, or strumming tunes on my acoustic guitar, you'll find me photographing the world, exploring new concerts, places, and gadgets. Furthermore, I'm deeply immersed in the world of software engineering, whether through personal projects or as the Director of Engineering at Circuit.

Originally from Brazil, I've traded in the constant buzz of São Paulo for the vibrant streets of Berlin, which my family and I now call home. With over 20 years of software expertise under my belt, spanning both individual contributor and management roles, and a decade of shaping young minds in the classroom, I'm passionate about bringing innovation to the tech world.

As a former co-founder of two ventures specializing in software consultancy and the other pioneering IoT and Climate as a Service innovation, I've been at the forefront of making waves in the logistics game. From developing seriously slick Rider Apps at iFood in Brazil to contributing to groundbreaking global-scale projects at Delivery Hero in Berlin, I'm excited to bring that same energy and expertise to the amazing and exceptionally talented crew at Circuit.
