Jacob Chandy Varghese

Jacob Chandy Varghese has extensive work experience in the technology field. Jacob Chandy began their career in 1993 as a Research Engineer at Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT). In 1996, they moved to Infosys as a Senior Systems Analyst. In 1998, they joined Alcatel-Lucent as a Director of Product Development, where they held a variety of management and leadership roles in Product Development. In 2010, they founded PrismTree Consulting. In 2011, they joined NewNet Communication Technologies as Managing Director, NewNet India, Head of Product Engineering, NST BU, where they developed a Secure Transaction Gateway product line. In 2016, they moved to Descant as a Strategy Consultant. In 2019, they joined EDGE as Head of Product Management, and was later promoted to Head of Product Management & Engineering and Head Of Engineering.

Jacob Chandy Varghese received a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut between 1989 and 1993. In 2014, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Executive MBA from the Indian School of Business. In 2015, they obtained four additional certifications from Wharton Executive Education and Kellogg Executive Education, including Competitive Marketing Strategy, Corporate Development: Mergers & Acquisitions, Ethics and Stakeholder Communication, and Strategic Value Addition through Financial Structures.
