Vinu Johney has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2000. In 2000, they began their career at Monster.com India Pvt. Ltd. as the Head of SME Sales. Vinu then moved to techTribe Networks in 2007 as the National Head of Sales. In 2008, they joined UniMity Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In 2013, they worked at Ideacts Innovations Pvt. Ltd. as the Vice President of Sales. In 2016, they became the Director of Sales at Indifi Technologies Pvt. Ltd. In 2017, they were the Vice President of Enterprise Business at PeopleStrong. In 2020, they served as an Independent Consultant (Retainer) for a Global Leader in the WedTech Category. In 2021, they were the Head of Sales, Partnerships & Growth at Valyu.AI and an Independent Consultant (Retainership) for a FinTech start up. Finally, they are currently the Head of Sales, Partnerships and Marketing at EDGE.

Vinu Johney received their HSSC from Kendriya Vidyalaya between 1981 and 1993. Vinu then attended Goa University from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, and Zoology. Finally, they earned an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Finance & International Management (IFIM) in Bangalore from 1997 to 1999.
