Jiny Thattil

Jiny Thattil has a wealth of experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position was as the Senior Vice President of BYJU'S at Epic for Kids, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held roles at BYJU'S, starting as the Vice President of Engineering in 2020 and later becoming the Senior Vice President of Engineering in 2021.

Before joining BYJU'S, Jiny worked as the VP Engineering at Happay, a startup in the Indian payment industry, from 2019 to 2020. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Software Dev Manager at Amazon, focusing on developing and innovating on ReCommerce platforms.

From 2011 to 2016, Jiny worked at InMobi where they held multiple positions, including Director of Engineering and Principal Architect. They were responsible for leading technology strategy and engineering leadership for various products at InMobi.

Earlier in their career, Jiny worked as a Senior Technical Architect at Yodlee from 2008 to 2011, where they were responsible for technical design and development activities. They also worked at GE Healthcare as a Senior Technical Manager and Technical Manager, delivering digital services and leading projects to improve service operations.

Jiny started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at GE Global Research in 1999, where they were involved in research initiatives and gained expertise in J2EE technologies. They also worked as an Engineer at Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions Private Limited.

Jiny Thattil completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Tiruchirappalli from 1993 to 1997. In addition, Jiny Thattil obtained a Six Sigma certification in December 2000, specifically the Green Belt level, from an unspecified institution.
