As the Content Marketer at Flex you will be the driving force behind our B2B content strategy, shaping how we communicate Flex's unique value proposition to our target audience. You'll work closely with our Digital Marketing Lead to support our inbound marketing efforts by creating compelling content that attracts and converts high-quality leads.

In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy, collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and relevance, and manage the entire content lifecycle. Your work will be instrumental in positioning Flex as a leader in FinTech space, driving engagement, growth, and awareness through compelling and impactful content.

What you’ll do

  • Create and execute a comprehensive content strategy focusing on driving acquisition, engagement, and retention among our property management partners.
  • Develop thought leadership content that positions Flex as an industry leader in financial wellness; ghost write for our Principal Product Evangelist.
  • Use storytelling techniques to humanize our brand and build a deeper connection with our audience.
  • Own and manage the entire content lifecycle, from ideation to publishing and promotion, and performance measurement.
  • Develop a content calendar and oversee the production of various content formats, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, webinars, and emails.
  • Develop resources such as guides, tutorials, and FAQs to help property managers and their residents maximize the value of Flex’s offerings.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all content channels, including social media, email marketing, and our website.
  • Write website content and/or ad copy on an as-needed basis.
  • Collaborate closely with design colleagues on visual concepts and graphics.
  • Establish a feedback loop with sales and customer support teams to understand customer needs and improve content relevance.
  • Use feedback to iterate on and enhance content quality and effectiveness
  • Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, lead conversion) to refine and optimize our strategy.

Who you are

  • 5-7 years writing for B2B audiences or in the B2B2C space. Domain expertise in fintech or the multifamily / proptech industry is preferred.
  • Experience with both long- and short-form writing and optimizing copy for different marketing channels and formats.
  • Deep knowledge of social media and SEO best practices.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt your writing to the style and tone required for the audience and/or channel
  • Proficient in identifying and utilizing data to bolster narratives and drive engagement.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with various teams, including external partners.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivation, task organization, and time management, with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven resourcefulness and ability to manage multiple deadlines at once.

This role will report directly to the VP of Marketing, GTM.

This is a hybrid position with onsite expectations in our NYC office Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The national pay range for this role is $126,000-$146,000 in base salary. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience aligned with Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategy Development: Lead the strategy for our co-marketing program, ensuring alignment with our broader business goals. Work closely with Business Development and Revenue Operations to refine the approach based on market feedback and performance metrics.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan and implement compelling co-marketing campaigns with PMCs, targeting B2B2C segments. These campaigns should effectively utilize various channels such as digital, events, PR, and direct marketing to engage end-users.
  • Partner Collaboration: Act as the primary marketing contact for PMCs, facilitating collaborative campaign planning and execution. Advise partners on best practices for marketing Flex products to their customers.
  • Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of engaging, tailored content for co-marketing efforts. This includes educational materials, promotional content, and joint communications like webinars, social media posts, and blog articles.
  • Performance Tracking and Optimization: Monitor and analyze campaign results and marketing data to gauge effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular updates to internal and partner stakeholders about performance and insights.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with various teams, including Marketing (Performance Marketing and Growth), Sales (Channel Sales and Sales Enablement), and Product Marketing, to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach.
  • Partner Enablement: Develop and maintain educational resources and enablement materials for partners, ensuring they are equipped to effectively market and sell Flex.
  • Program Management: Continuously optimize and scale the co-marketing program, developing systematic strategies and processes for sustainable growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in marketing with a focus on co-marketing or partnership marketing, preferably in a B2B2C environment.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
