Director, Partner Growth Marketing

Marketing · Global

Job description

Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2024 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team?

About the role

As the Director of Co-Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving user growth, leveraging the brand trust of our property management partners (PMCs) and property managers to enhance the visibility and adoption of Flex among renters nationwide. Your primary objective will be to grow, optimize, and operationalize our co-marketing program by developing robust, repeatable strategies that deliver consistent, measurable results.

In this role, you will focus on optimizing existing co-marketing processes with our Partners, as well as the strategy and execution of new growth levers (e.g., Affiliate program, peer to peer referrals, community marketing, etc.). You will collaborate directly with each partner on growth strategy, content development, product messaging and positioning, and campaign performance data and reporting. As the primary marketing stakeholder for these partners, you will work closely to enable, execute, and evangelize co-marketing efforts for Flex.

What you’ll do

  • Drive the strategy for Flex's co-marketing program, ensuring success of department OKRs and alignment with the company’s broader business objectives.
  • Own the vision and execution of Flex’s new affiliate marketing program, as well as additional high-value strategic opportunities
  • Monitor and analyze effectiveness of new marketing programs to determine further investment and scalability
  • Create the playbook for and execute B2B2C campaigns to drive adoption of Flex through partner and property networks
  • Monitor and analyze campaign results to gauge effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and develop resolutions to critical issues; provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders about performance and best practices.
  • Be the connection between Product, Marketing, and Sales – relaying and adapting product updates, new collateral, including developing partner enablement content.
  • Work with Sales, Implementations, and Partner Success teams to ensure partners are equipped with the necessary content, sales materials, and product knowledge to effectively promote, drive referrals, and boost product adoption.

Who you are

  • 8+ years in marketing, with a focus on B2B2C, co-marketing, customer, product, or partnership marketing preferred.
  • Strategic thinker skilled in multitasking and managing multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Analytically-driven problem solver with deep experience in data analysis.
  • Strong project management skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of forging and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, adept at crafting engaging narratives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Proficient in identifying and utilizing data to enhance content creation and demonstrate results to partners to drive engagement.

This role will report directly to the VP of Marketing, GTM.

This is a hybrid role based in New York City.
