About The Role:

As our first Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our online presence and bringing our brand story to life. Your role will involve creating and implementing a social media strategy to expand our reach and connect with partners and consumers to drive growth. You will create compelling content, foster community interactions, and monitor performance metrics to ensure the success of our social media initiatives. Your creativity and strategic insight will be essential in shaping our digital footprint from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Analytics: Develop and implement our social media strategy in partnership with growth leads, report on KPIs and optimize strategies based on data and consumer sentiment.
  • Content Planning & Creation: Develop and manage content calendars, create and edit social media content aligned with marketing initiatives.
  • Community Management: Foster a positive brand image, engage with followers, monitor reviews, and collaborate with customer service for quick issue resolution.
  • Brand Alignment: Propose channel aesthetics to match Flex brand visuals, voice, and values, and coordinate content with other marketing efforts, including SEO and PR.
  • Influencer Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with social media influencers to expand the network and enhance brand visibility.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience as a content manager with the following channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc. ​​
  • Proven success growing an engaged, active community for a consumer brand to build trust and engagement
  • Deep understanding of social media – passionate about and immersed in social media trends, staying updated on what brands and influencers are doing.
  • Strong creative skills with an ability to write posts and create videos that will grab attention and drive engagement 
  • Experience engaging in direct conversations with consumers across social media channels
  • Strong project management skills and bias for action—ability to to achieve fast turnarounds and be agile with change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Solid knowledge of Google Analytics and performance metrics

The national pay range for this role is $88,000-$98,000 in base salary. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience aligned with Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
