Manjiri Kaundinya

Manjiri Kaundinya has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Manjiri currently holds the position of Vice President of Quality & Regulatory at Getinge since October 2022. Before joining Getinge, they served as the Sr. Director, Global Quality Systems & PMO at Zimmer Biomet from January 2014 to October 2022. In this role, they were responsible for leading quality management systems and program management for the global organization. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Global Business Development at Advanced Energy from April 2012 to April 2013.

Manjiri Kaundinya also has experience in the renewable energy industry, having served as the Director of Product Management at First Solar from October 2010 to March 2012. In this role, they managed global product lines, developed product strategies, and led a team of Product Managers. Manjiri previously worked at BP Solar as the Senior Global Product Manager from April 2009 to October 2010, where they oversaw product portfolios for utility, commercial, and residential segments. Manjiri also held the role of Senior Program Manager for solar facility expansion at BP Solar from March 2007 to March 2009.

Earlier in their career, Manjiri Kaundinya worked as the Senior Marketing Engineer and PeopleSoft Implementation Program Manager at Baltimore Aircoil Company from April 2006 to March 2007. Manjiri also served as the Senior Product Development Engineer at Magneti Marelli from March 2003 to April 2006 and as the Industrial Engineer Factory Simulation at ABB from July 2001 to September 2002. Manjiri'sfirst professional role was as a Project Engineer at Hitachi from August 1999 to August 2000.

Manjiri Kaundinya's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering, which they completed from 1995 to 1999. Manjiri then pursued a Master of Science degree in Integrated Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University, studying from 2000 to 2002. Later, they attended the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on General Management.

In addition to their formal education, Manjiri Kaundinya obtained various certifications. In 2007, they received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Manjiri also achieved the ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) certification from ASQ in December 2008.

In 2013, Manjiri earned several certifications, including the FDA Medical Device cGMP- FDA QSR/ 21CFR820 certificate and the ISO 13485:2003 QMS for medical devices certificate, both from CALISO Corporation. Manjiri also obtained the SCRUM MASTER certification from the International Scrum Institute.

Lastly, in October 2015, Manjiri Kaundinya became an ASQ- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, demonstrating their expertise in process improvement and quality management.
