Rovshan Baghirov

Rovshan Baghirov has a diverse work experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on back-end development and CRM systems. Their most recent position was as a Senior Software Engineer at GetMuv, where they developed the back-end and CRM components of a popular sports booking app in Saudi Arabia. Rovshan utilized Laravel framework, Vue.js, MySQL, and Redis for this project. Additionally, Rovshan was responsible for server maintenance and configuration using Ubuntu, Nginx, Fail2Ban, and other necessary software.

Prior to GetMuv, Rovshan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ATL Tech from 2014 to 2018. Rovshan also served as a Lead Software Engineer at Navigator Mobile Services from 2012 to 2014, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Azercell Telecom LLC from 2006 to 2012. At Azercell Telecom, Rovshan had significant involvement in various projects, including developing services for a large user base, working with real-time data, and creating a Fraud Management and Prevention System.

Earlier in their career, Rovshan worked independently as an Independent Consultant from 2001 to 2012. Rovshan also held positions such as Senior Software Engineer at the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology from 2005 to 2006, Technical Director at Premier Group Baku from 2005 to 2006, and Senior Software Engineer at R.I.S.K. Company from 2002 to 2005. Throughout these roles, they worked on various projects, including developing applications using different technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server.

In 2001, Rovshan started their career as a Software Engineer at Bakinternet, an Internet Service Provider, where they gained foundational experience in software engineering.

Rovshan Baghirov pursued their Bachelor's degree from 1998 to 2002 in International Economic Relations at Azerbaijan State University of Economics, known as UNEC. Following that, they obtained a Master's degree in International Economic Relations from the same institution, completing it from 2002 to 2004.
