Marcelo Pattacini Martins, CSP, PMI-ACP

Marcelo Pattacini Martins has a extensive work experience in the technology and development field. Marcelo is currently serving as the CTO at GetNinjas since January 2020. Prior to this, from 2018 to January 2020, they worked at InterPlayers as the Gerente de Sistemas e Projetos, where they managed a team of 45 professionals and was responsible for creating a digital platform for the company's digital transformation program. From 2016 to 2018, Marcelo worked at Nimbi S/A as the Manager of Technology / Development, where they oversaw processes, agile governance, and facilitated continuous improvement initiatives. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2016, they held roles at NeoGrid, both as the Senior Manager of Technology / Development and the Senior Software Development Manager, where they managed teams, contributed to innovation and technology initiatives, and played a key role in M&A processes. Marcelo also has experience from their tenure at Neogrid / Agentrics as the Manager of Software Development and at Xplan as the Development and Technology Manager, where they were responsible for architecture, product development, and driving high-quality staff. Marcelo started their career as a Partner at ESW from 1995 to 2000.

Marcelo Pattacini Martins, CSP, PMI-ACP has an extensive education history. In 1989-1994, they attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they obtained a PS degree in Computer Engineering. In 1998-1999, Marcelo pursued a Posgraduate Specialization in Industrial Administration at USP - Universidade de São Paulo. More recently, from 2020-2022, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at FIA Business School.

In addition to their academic achievements, Marcelo has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. Some of these certifications include Data Science and Executive Data Science Specializations from Coursera, a TOC Fundamentals - Theory of Constraints - Certificate of Achievement from TOCICO, and several certifications from the Scrum Alliance, including Certified Scrum Professional - Product Owner (CSP-PO), Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster (CSP-SM), and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). Additionally, Marcelo holds a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the PMI Project Management Institute.
