Roberto Matheus

Roberto Matheus has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Roberto started their career as a Maintainer of electronic equipment and electro-electronic systems at USIMINAS, where they conducted quality inspections and analyzed data and performance indicators. Roberto then worked as a Technician at NorteSul Hidrotecnologia, gaining experience in electronic technology. Roberto later joined Tecnoponta and ETEC - Escola Técnica Estadual de São Paulo as an IT Intern, where they assisted with software and operating system installations, hardware maintenance, internal network support, and developed a "Service Order Management System" at ETEC.

After their internships, Roberto joined Cognizant as a Functional Test Analyst / Programmer Analyst. Their responsibilities included functional testing, analyzing databases and programs in JAVA and COBOL, creating test data, defect tracking, evidence gathering, retesting, test diary management, and defect management across web, mobile, mainframe, and client-specific systems. Roberto utilized tools such as JIRA, SIMBI, SPLUNK, CHANGEMAN, FMDB2, DeviceFarm, and POSTMAN. Roberto also developed test case modeling in BDD/Gherkin to automate manual/functional tests.

Most recently, Roberto is working at SOC - Software Integrado de Gestão Ocupacional as a Tester, where they are involved in testing activities.

In 2021, Roberto joined GetNinjas as a Software Quality Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Throughout their career, Roberto has gained expertise in software testing, quality assurance, programming, database analysis, and IT support.

Roberto Matheus completed their Postgraduate Degree in Software Quality Engineering at Cento Universitário Senac in the year 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Higher Technology Course in Computer Systems Analysis at Fatec Baixada Santista Rubens Lara from 2017 to 2020. Roberto also obtained a Professional Secondary Education in Equipment and Electro-Electronic Systems Maintenance from Escola e Faculdade SENAI de Santos between 2011 and 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Roberto Matheus received the CTFL Certification from BSTQB in August 2021. Roberto also achieved the Master the Mainframe 2019 - Real World Challenge certification from IBM in January 2020. In addition, they have a General English - Level A1 Elementary certification from the English Language Academy (ELA), Dublin, Ireland, obtained in August 2015.
