Katie Hayes

Katie Hayes began their career in 2011 as a Copywriter Intern at Bernstein-Rein Advertising, where they presented a new business pitch to the inventor of the Happy Meal. In 2012, they became a Copywriter Intern at Group360, where they learned about POCM, POP, and other abbreviations of a below-the-line agency. During their time there, they wrote for Anheuser-Busch, Snapple/Dr. Pepper Group, Ahold, Bass Pro Shops, and Group 360 Internal. Katie also worked on a Landshark Lager 2013 Summer Promotional Program. In 2013, they became a Junior Copywriter at Luckie & Company. In 2015, they were a Copywriter at Moosylvania and a Freelance Copywriter at Lewis Communications. From 2016 to 2022, they were an Operations Manager and Office Administrator at Integrity, where they prepared and sent monthly invoices to clients via Quickbooks, processed Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, reconciled ten company credit cards each month, managed P&L spreadsheet, prepared paperwork for new employee and exit meetings, calculated utilization reports in Excel, cultivated office culture by planning company events and monthly team celebration lunches, and managed and maintained relationships with all vendors. In 2022, they became an Operations Coordinator at Picnic Corporation, a cybersecurity firm that proactively protects people and companies against the biggest threat vector in cyber today.

Katie Hayes attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Journalism with a focus in Strategic Communication and Psychology.
