Sergey Scherbak

Sergey Scherbak has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Sergey began their career as a self-employed individual, owning and managing their own business from 2003 to 2016. As an owner, they gained valuable entrepreneurial skills and experience.

In 2016, Sergey joined DataDepot as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), where they played a key role in the company's technology strategy and development. Sergey contributed to the growth and success of DataDepot until June 2022.

Following their time at DataDepot, Sergey joined BASIS ID as the CTO in 2017, where they continued to showcase their technical expertise and leadership. During their tenure, they contributed to the company's growth and success until June 2022.

In 2021, Sergey embarked on a new venture as the CTO and owner of Fincoders, demonstrating their ability to lead and manage their own business.

Most recently, Sergey joined Getplace.io in September 2022 as the CTO and co-founder. This role involves utilizing various data sources to help offline businesses in their location selection to minimize the risk of failure.

Sergey Scherbak completed their Master of Technology in Control and informatics in technical systems at Don State Technical University from 1999 to 2005. Sergey pursued their education in the field of Information Technology during this period.
