Alex Quintero

Alex Quintero has a diverse work experience in various fields. Starting in 2002, they worked as an Observational Astrophysics Research Assistant and later as a Physics Teaching Assistant at New York University until 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Theoretical Astrophysics Research Assistant at Steward Observatory, U of Arizona. Then, from 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Quantitative Researcher/Assistant Trader at Privero Capital Management, LLC. From 2009 to 2015, they worked as a Staff Research Associate at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where they were responsible for overseeing large-scale data processing operations and managing ship-wide operations. Currently, since 2015, Alex has been working at Rev, initially as a Sr Data Scientist and Data Science Manager and now as the Director of Data Science.

Alex Quintero holds a Master's Degree in Data Science and Engineering from UC San Diego, which was obtained between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they received a B.A. with Honors in Physics from New York University, completed between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, Alex has certifications as a Section4 Certified Innovation Strategist and a Prof G Certified Strategist, obtained in 2021 from Section4.
