Diogo Cera

Diogo Cera is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Getro since September 2024. Previously, Diogo held the position of Lead Developer at Polkastarter from November 2021 to September 2024, where responsibilities included managing the development team and enhancing backend systems. Prior to that, Diogo was a Backend Developer at Polkastarter, specializing in building backend infrastructure for the company's core business. As the Head Of Development and Co-founder of Ubbu from January 2016 to October 2021, Diogo designed and implemented the initial MVP for an edtech platform that served 30,000 monthly active users. Diogo's early career includes roles as a Software Developer at Darkmatter Collective, Gleam, Innovagency, and Glintt. Diogo holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra.
