Ryan Le Roux

Director of Product Design at Shogun

Ryan Le Roux is the current Director of Product Design at Shogun. Prior to their current position, Le Roux served as the Product Design Lead at Kickstarter from June 2017 to January 2018. In this role, they led the design of Kickstarter's first product in over nine years. Drip was a subscription-based funding platform that eventually shut down in 2019. From July 2014 to June 2017, Le Roux served as Design Director at MetaLab. During their time at MetaLab, they grew the Product Design org from three to thirty-two, built growth tracts (both people and technical), developed and documented remote-friendly processes, expanded the discipline to include User Experience Research, and hired over 30 incredibly talented individuals. Upon departure, the Design org was responsible for more than $60m in annual revenue. From October 2012 to July 2014, Le Roux served as a Product Designer at The Walt Disney Company. From November 2011 to April 2012, they also served as a Staff Designer at Carrot. Currently, Le Roux is serving as a Product Designer at Acro Media Inc, a position they have held since February 2007.
