Cara C.

Cara C. has a strong background in cybersecurity with experience in various roles. Cara started their career as a Security Analyst Intern at BYU Office of Information Technology in 2016, where they designed a system to detect cyberattacks and raised staff awareness of vulnerabilities. In 2018, they joined Qualtrics as a Part-Time Security Operations Engineer, operating as a Tier 1 Security Operations Center engineer and monitoring SIEM events to identify and respond to security issues. Cara then worked as a Web Penetration Tester at The Cadence Group in 2019, before joining Weave HQ as a Security Engineer in 2020. Throughout their career, they have also been involved in cybersecurity research, authored research papers, and participated in penetration testing engagements as a Cybersecurity Research Assistant at Brigham Young University.

Cara C. attended Brigham Young University from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. Following this, they pursued further education at the same institution from 2017 to 2019, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Technology.
