Andreas Jaggi

Andreas Jaggi has over 13 years of work experience in various roles in the technology industry. Andreas is currently working as an Engineering Manager at GetYourGuide, a position they have held since July 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Security Engineer at GetYourGuide from January 2020 to June 2021.

Prior to joining GetYourGuide, Andreas worked at Open Systems from 2009 to 2019. Their roles at Open Systems included Head of WAN Security from November 2018 to December 2019, Lead Engineer from April 2015 to November 2018, and Security Engineer from June 2009 to March 2015.

In 2015, Andreas worked as a Stage Manager at Metropop Festival. Andreas was responsible for managing the stages during the festival.

Andreas also gained experience during their time at Patton-Inalp Networks in 2008, where they worked on a Master's thesis project.

Andreas started their career as an intern at Novawave Technologies in 2007 and later returned for another internship in 2008. During these internships, they gained experience in embedded Linux systems development and Linux server administration.

Andreas began their professional journey at EPFL, Knowledge and Informations Services, where they worked as a developer from 2004 to 2008.

Andreas Jaggi has a strong educational background in computer science. Andreas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2003 to 2006. Andreas further pursued their studies at the same institution and obtained their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from 2006 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Andreas obtained a certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in February 2014.
