William Colgan

William Colgan is a highly experienced researcher and academic with a robust background in the fields of geography, earth sciences, and climate change. Currently, William serves as a Fellow at The Explorers Club and a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Rising Seas Institute, while also working as a Scientific Editor for the Advances in Climate Change Research journal at the China Meteorological Administration and the Journal of Glaciology at The International Glaciological Society. With a career spanning over a decade, William holds the position of Senior Researcher at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland and has previously contributed as an Assistant Professor at York University. William's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master's Degree in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Geography from Queen's University.
