Susan Williams

Susan Williams currently serves as the Interim Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence at The University of Georgia, focusing on expanding access to veterinary medicine and enhancing applicant pools for college positions. Williams has held multiple academic roles at The University of Georgia, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor, with responsibilities encompassing teaching, diagnostic services, and research, particularly in the Histopathology section. Prior experience includes serving as an Academic Specialist at Michigan State University, where diagnostic pathology services were provided under the supervision of Pathology faculty. Susan Williams holds a PhD in Veterinary Pathology from Michigan State University, a DVM from Tuskegee University, and a BS in Zoology from the University of California, Davis.
