Hethu Nanayakkara

Hethu Nanayakkara has a solid background in software engineering, with a range of experience across different roles and companies. Hethu began their career at Lanka Online in 2000, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer until 2003. Hethu then joined Global Infortech as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, they moved to ADS Inbay and served as a Development Manager until 2008. Finally, since 2008, Hethu Nanayakkara has been working for Geveo Australasia, initially as a Director of Software Engineering and currently as the Head of Software Engineering.

Hethu Nanayakkara completed a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Moratuwa from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Richmond College in Galle from 1980 to 1993, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. Hethu also obtained various certifications including a Board Leadership Director Certification in 2016, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2009, a Certified Scrum Master (SCM) certification in 2011, and several Microsoft certifications in the early 2000s.
