Joerg Seifert-Granzin

Joerg Seifert-Granzin is an experienced consultant and team leader at GFA Consulting Group GmbH, where from June 2019 onward, oversight and support were provided for the implementation of the REDD Early Movers (REM) program in Ecuador, focusing on forest conservation and governance. Prior to this role, from February 2017 to March 2019, leadership was provided in developing Ecuador’s National Forest Monitoring System utilizing advanced satellite technologies and cloud computing. As the owner of mesa consult from June 2010 to January 2017, expertise was offered in REDD+ forest monitoring and climate change adaptation projects across various countries. Joerg also served as the head of the Environmental Services and Climate Change department at Fundación Amigos de la Naturaleza from February 2004 to January 2010. Joerg Seifert-Granzin holds a Dipl.-Vwl. in Economics from Heidelberg University.
